When you first lay eyes on the Touroll U1, with its sleek black frame and robust 29-inch tires, there’s an immediate sense that this e-bike means business. As an avid mountain biker, I was skeptical about whether an electric bike could deliver the raw experience of trail riding, but the Touroll U1 has shifted my perspective entirely.
Performance on the Trails:
The 250W motor might not soundmuch in the world of e-bikes, but on the trails, it’s a silent beast. Climbing hills that would normally require standing on the pedals and a fair bit of huffing and puffing, the U1 handles with a surprising grace, thanks to its well-calibrated pedal assist. The 65km max range is no joke either. On a single charge, I managed a good day’s ride through varying terrains without the anxiety of a dying battery, although pushing the bike to its speed limits will drain the battery faster.
