Been using the Sony ZV-E10 for the past 6 months. Taken it abroad for travel, shot a few YouTube videos. This camera has almost everything you need to get started with videography, photography and content creation.
If you are looking for a small, affordable, compact camera, with interchangeable lenses, then this is it. Especially if you are coming from a RX100 series and wanted a bit more from the RX100.
I have the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 lens and it takes great photos and videos. Not as small and pocketable than the RX100, but it has its pros.
Good points
* Touch focus – It’s not a touch screen for accessing the menu, but you can touch the screen for focusing on your subject, which is very convenient.
* No recording limits in 4k or HD – You can record till either the battery dies, the sd card fills up or maybe when it overheats, which I’ve yet to experience.
* Interchangeable lens.
* In-built mic. Don’t like the in-built mic? Well, it has a mic jack.
* Small, compact, and light.
* Flip out screen – Useful for self vlogs, portraits, and various shots.
Things to be aware of
* No optical view finder – This may be a deal breaker for some. I find the optical view finder useful when taking photos in sunny bright conditions.
* Screen under bright conditions – Under really sunny bright weather, the screen is very difficult to see, and a view finder in this instance would have benefited.
* No inbuilt ND filter – Not the end of the world.
* Does not have a dial to quickly switch between photo, video, and S&Q modes. You have to press the single button to toggle through. I prefer a dial.
* Doesn’t have the S-Cinetone picture profiles that you will find in the A6700, ZV-E1. Not a deal breaker. BUT with a quick google search, you can find settings to get you close enough.
* Image stabilisation – for video, make sure you have the steady shot enabled for hand held shots, otherwise the video is very shaky.
With all that said. I still like the Sony ZV-E10. It’s an affordable compact interchangeable camera with a tonne of features. Paired with a quality lens, you can take amazing videos and photos. I think its the baby sibling to the A6600, A6700 series which has a higher price point.

Ho preso questa camera ormai diversi mesi fa per utilizzarla come B-CAM da affiancare alla mia fidata Alpha 6400. La utilizzo per registrare video in 4K per il mio canale YouTube e mi trovo benissimo. A differenza della 6400, la ZV-E10 non ha il mirino elettronico e nasce in maniera specifica per essere utilizzata per i video. La qualità di registrazione è ottima in quanto utilizza un sensore da 6K e questo assicura un immagine nitida in 4K. L’autofocus è davvero sublime e per la parte video rispetto alla più vecchia 6400 sono stati fatti dei miglioramenti non da poco:
1) E’ stato risolto il problema del focus breathing quando si utilizza la presa HDMI
2) il tasto di registrazione è stato messo in alto in una posizione molto più comoda rispetto alla 6400
3) lo schermo, a differenza della 6400, è completamente girevole e questo aiuta molto quando si registrano video.
4) Quando parte la registrazione compare una linea rossa intorno allo schermo ed un led rosso ben visibile e questo ci permette di verificare che stiamo effettivamente registrando.
5) C’è la funzione show case che concentra il focus sui prodotti e questo facilita di molto le recensioni. Con la 6400 per mantenere il focus sul prodotto si era costretti a mettere una mano davanti al viso in modo da disabilitare il focus automatico sul viso.
6) Le dimensioni ed il peso sono decisamente inferiori rispetto alla 6400 e questo rappresenta un vantaggio quando la si utilizza in giro.
7) L’audio integrato della camera è migliorato molto rispetto alla 6400. I microfoni interni assicurano una qualità audio nettamente superiore. Per i miei video utilizzo sempre microfoni esterni per avere la massima qualità audio possibile, ma l’audio integrato è di buona qualità e superiore a quello di moltissime altre camere ben più costose.
8) I ganci per la tracolla sono fissi e non più mobili come nella 6400 e quindi non fanno rumore quando siete in movimento.
ASPETTI NEGATIVI:
1) Non ha il mirino elettronico e questo non è il massimo per le foto. Se state cercando una camera principalmente per scattare foto e non vi interessa la parte video non vi consiglio di comprarla.
2) La qualità costruttiva è buona ma non al livello delle camere della serie Alpha. Le plastiche sono più economiche e sono lucide e questo aumenta la visibilità delle ditate.
3) Si tratta cmq di una camera che registra in 8bit. Se volete registrare video in HDR vi consiglio di prendere una camera in grado di registrare in 10 bit.
4) Il sensore è lo stesso della 6400 e al pari di quest’ultima soffre di rolling shutter. Ossia quando muovete velocemente la camera lateralmente l’immagine si deforma. Nel mio caso questo non è un problema in quanto la utilizzo per registrazioni statiche in studio e su cavalletto. Se volete produrre video all’aperto in cui seguite oggetti in movimento allora dovreste tenere conto del problema.
SINTESI
Per quello che costa è davvero un ottimo prodotto, specialmente se il vostro principale focus è la produzione di contenuti video per il web. Assicura la stessa qualità video della 6400 pur costando in media 250€ in meno (io l’ho presa al Black Fdriday a 599). Il fatto di avere lenti intercambiabili è ottimo perché vi permette di aumentare di molto la qualità video.

La ZV-E10 es una herramienta muy potente por un precio muy económico. Si vas a grabar en un entorno controlado y con buena luz no serás capaz de distinguir entre el vÃdeo de esta cámara en 8 bits del vÃdeo de una FX30 a 10 bits. Obviamente, en situaciones de luz complejas con gran contraste o poca luminosidad, esta cámara sufrirá por su tamaño de sensor reducido y su vÃdeo comprimido, pero es que por el precio que tiene ganas mucho más de lo que pierdes. Tienes disponible el enfoque automático de cámaras más avanzadas y caras como la A7C, además de todos los perfiles de color para la grabación de vÃdeo como Cine 4, Slog-2, Slog-3 y el maravilloso HLG3. La Sony ZV-E10, además toma fotografÃas de la misma calidad que las de la Sony A6400, si bien su ergonomÃa y experiencia de uso la posicionan más como una cámara de vÃdeo, podrás hacer fotos fantásticas con esta cámara. Es una cámara muy pensada para usuarios con poca experiencia, pero con unos ligeros cambios en la programación de sus botones se puede adaptar a un uso profesional sin problemas ya que todos los diales son reprogramables para adaptar tu experiencia de uso a tus necesidades.
Yo mismo he remapeado el botón de grabación y el botón de “prioridad de fondo desenfocado” para que funcionen como prioridad de enfoque a cara en enfoque automático y amplificador de enfoque en enfoque manual respectivamente, dejando el botón de disparo como botón de grabación en vÃdeo y botón de obturación en foto.
Esta cámara sigue utilizando las baterÃas NP-FW50, pero es sin duda la que mejor gestión hace de las mismas durando al menos un 50% más que cuando uso la misma baterÃa en mi A7II o un 25/30% más que cuando la uso en mi Sony A6400. Igualmente, la cámara se puede usar mientras se alimenta a través de su puerto USB-C de una baterÃa externa.
Me gusta usarla para llevarla a todas partes con un pequeño objetivo o de manera profesional, montándola en un rig, con un monitor externo, micro y baterÃa externa que la hacen más pesada, con mejor agarre y con una autonomÃa para un dÃa entero de grabación manteniéndose muy por debajo del peso de una Full Frame.
Estoy muy contento con esa pequeña cámara con la que se pueden hacer grandes cosas.

Avevano parzialmente ragione, ovviamente non è un’automazione! Però questa macchina ti da tutto quello che serve per diventare un aspirante “professionista”. Il Professionista non è quello bravo, è quello che guadagna, ricordalo.
Quindi: comprata da un anno, scattate ad oggi 8000 foto in diversi contesti e con diverse tecniche (Natura, Landscape, Studio, Ritratti, Sport, Video di vario genere).
PREMESSA: Al tempo non sapevo veramente cosa volesse dire APS-C o FULL FRAME. Per quanto ci si informa, bisogna superare i preconcetti, basarsi sul budget e provare sul campo. Una delle prime foto che ho fatto con questa macchina con l’obbiettivo kit 16-50 che usato vale meno di 50€, è a dir poco bellissima! Infatti non è l’obbiettivo, è la scena, il fotografo, la fortuna, il meteo. Come se Janis Joplin avessero dato un microfono da 20€ o uno da 1000€, la sua performance sarebbe comunque stata epica, non bella ma storica. Stessa cosa per le foto. Con questa macchinetta avete tutto il necessario per fare foto professionali, video per cortometraggi da premiazioni internazionali, Vlog per youtube, presentazioni, filmati sportivi.
PRO:
– Leggera
– Super conosciuta e super venduta in tutto il mondo. Se apriste youtube e cercaste ZV-e10 ci sono letteralmente migliaia di video che spiegano per filo e per segno tutto, ci sono filmati di shooting POV, short film cinematici, tutorial di ogni genere, anche chi trasforma la piccoletta di una camera da presa con i cinema rig.
– Messa a fuoco ottima con più di 400 punti af, video in 4k, slowmo in 1080, foto incredibili (a patto di impegnarsi a saperla utilizzare)
РStabilizzazione attraverso software di post produzione (gratis) che usano i dati dei giroscopi di cui ̬ dotata, quindi la camera non ̬ stabilizzata (IBIS) come la A6700.
– Possibilità di personalizzazione e di avere un grande parco obbiettivi
– Raffica a 11 fps per circa 40 RAW, ideale per natura e sport. Siamo lontani dal professionismo quanto lo siamo dall’ambito amatoriale eh!! . Ho anche una Nikon D3300 che fa tipo 5 foto a raffica e sembra che il meccanismo stia per lasciarci le penne.
CONTRO
I contro che seguono non sono delle critiche ma semplicemente degli upgrade che non sarebbero possibili con un prezzo davvero ridotto, di base non ha nessuna criticità ! Ovvero, non ha contro perché è una macchina essenziale e budget friendly. Si possono fare grandi cose, se si è poveri come me, altrimenti compratevi la A6700.
– Non ha il mirino

– Non ha la ghiera per decidere se fare foto, video o slowmo (corretto nella ZV e10 mk II)
РNon ha la ricarica veloce, non ̬ tropicalizzata, non ha il touch ma interagisce touch con tracking della messa a fuoco e per spostare le preview zoommate delle foto scattate (ehh?)
– Avrei voluto un tasto per commutare il tipo di messa a fuoco.
– Dicono che i menù dei setting sono terribili, in effetti lo sono ma basta studiarseli.
Fine. Se state cercando di affacciarvi nel panorama Fotocamere e avete pazienza di imparare, sperimentare e reinventarvi arrangiandovi con ciò che avete, questa macchina è perfetta. Il panorama Sony è un po’ elitario, sappiatelo, non è così diffuso come Canon e Nikon (per l’usato). A parità di camere e obbiettivi è più economico Fujifilm. Ogni marca ha i pro e i contro ma non lasciatevi scoraggiare, Sony vi mette a disposizione uno strumento avanzato per poter esprimere la vostra creatività .

Alors ZV E10 ou ZV E10 2 ? hé bien j’ai effectué un test avec une vidéo youtube où la personne filmait la même scène mais l’écran divisé en deux..
Capture d’écran, j’ai soumis à une I.A que tout le monde connait maintenant en lui disant “il y a deux appareils, le ZV E10 et le ZV E11, détermine selon la qualité, qui a pris l’image de droite et qui a pris l’image de gauche.” j’ai répété l’opéré une dizaine de fois avec des captures différentes.
L’I.A a déterminé que la plus belle image était prise par le ZV E10 (pensant que c’était le 10-2)
DONC amis youtuber et vlogger, n’allez pas dépensez trop cher (400 balles de plus) pour le modèle supérieur ! pour le moment ça ne sert à rien.
Cependant petite mise en garde, sur secteur, quand comme moi on est une andouille et qu’on laisse l’écran replié, l’appareil surchauffe et s’éteint seul par sécurité; j’ai placé un petit ventilo USB de la marque Amazon en dessous et après ça s’est passé super bien donc, investissez dans un petit ventilo qui peut s’adapter sur l’appareil pour les looooongues session d’enregistrement =)
je suis pleinement satisfait de la qualité de cet apparait, il vaut bien mieux que toutes les webcam vendues comme faisant un magnifique 4K et qui en réalité redistribue du 1080p.
Vous aurez cependant besoin d’une carte vidéo de type Elgato 4K si vous voulez relier votre appareil à l’ordinateur pour que l’entre ET la sortie se fassent en 4K, c’est pas trop cher et ça se trouve… sur Amazon bien entendu !
Donc en résumé:
– Excellente qualité d’image
РLe son est pas ouf, mais quand on vlogg, on a g̩n̩ralement un micro sans fil ou une autre source.
– La photo est parfaite
– Objectif adaptable (mais attention les objectifs sonny coûtent aussi cher que l’appareil ^^)

As a YouTuber and tech enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for high-quality equipment that can help me produce better content without breaking the bank (too much).
Here are my thoughts:
For my current use (mostly in a studio environment) I must admit that I hesitated to pull the trigger on this camera. I was thinking I could get away with my smartphones, but truth is recording a clean and bright video inside 4 walls is still nearly impossible due to the very limited capabilities of the optics and tiny sensors in those (unless you live in California I guess). With the arrival of (finally) good 4k webcams such as the ElGato FaceCam Pro and Insta360 Link for example, I was tempted to return this camera and get one of those webcams for much cheaper (or even buy the two of them for the price of this Sony). But I remembered the flexibility a proper camera brings compared to simple webcams. At the end of the day, it all comes down to your needs and your budget.
What I like:
Everything. It is one of the very few cameras with the following features (which I really need on the daily) and at a decent price: clean HDMI view (so I can use my ElGato Camlink 4k in OBS with it) / flip out screen / external mic in / 4k video recording / removable lens.
The USB-C file transfer and charging is great, offers a lot of flexibility and negates the needs to carry around yet another charger.
While the body is mostly plastic, it doesn’t feel cheap at all. It is lighter and more compact than most, making me want to take it when going out.
Works flawlessly with my DJI external mics and all cheap shotgun mics I plugged in.
What I don’t like:
Nothing directly related to the camera itself.
It’s just like any other camera, many accessories are needed (and pricey). Fast SD cards, sturdier mounts, different lenses (especially a wide one, as the crop in 4k video recording mode is massive), and an AC adapter.
The USB battery charger in the box, while designed only to recharge the battery, can slow down the discharge rate of the battery when the camera is on and recording. But I wouldn’t recommend it long term. It helps when in a pinch, but it won’t do for continuous recording and surely can’t be good for the camera and or its battery. I’m looking to get that Sony AC-PW20 adapter, but that’s another 100e/88£ to part with, and that somehow really annoys me.
The Sony app which allows to “control” this camera through a smartphone is downright a joke, with an extremely slow live view and delayed reaction when tapping on the record/take photo button making it almost useless. If they would fix the app, this could actually be really helpful.
