My old Panasonic Lumix finally gave up the ghost. It had been a super little camera that took many lovely photo’s. I shopped around for quite some time to find a replacement. I looked at this Nikon D3100 camera, read all about it and it’s reviews. I’m just a happy snapper and wondered if, even as old as it is, would it be worth the money. Even refurbished it’s a lot of money for an OAP. My other fear was that I wouldn’t get the most out of it.
Oh was I so wrong. What I took on my dead Lumix were just happy snaps. What I take with the Nikon D3100 are amazing photographs.
It makes me look more like a professional photographer rather than a hit and hope photographer.
It’s easy to use if you have a bit of a play with the settings. It even shows you what you need for a specific type of photo. OK there are better camera’s out there now. I’ll leave them for the enthusiasts and professionals and the “Oh look at me with my expensive camera” types.
For me the D3100 has improved my photography hugely. Don’t write it off, it’s brilliant.
