I love this camera its not very cheap, but then you pay for the quality of this camera. Its excellent in the hand, the picture quality is superb. What a brilliant piece of kit I love it.
The only problem I am having is not being able to remove the front part to place a filter on and a hood.
– Apart from that – its fabulous.
Wilbert –
Perfect for both beginners and pros, intuitive controls and great build

I’ve had loads of different cameras over the years, including 2x X100Fs – I sold one and then wished I hadn’t. The same thing happened with the V – bought one, used it for a few months, really liked it, sold it, regretted it, bought another one. There really is something magical about these cameras – I like to turn off the EVF and use the optical view finder and also turn off the rear screen playback after taking a shot – a pretty analogue way of taking snaps and I love it. Build quality of these things is great and the image quality is also very good. The newer lens on the V is noticeably sharper wide open than the F.

Another amazing camera from Fuji. Taken everywhere I go and still looking brand new
Arjun –
Perfect balance of manual controls and smart features
Jermain –
Photos are decent, but the autofocus is hit or miss
Phil Court –
It is such an amazing little camera for it’s size. A lot of features lacked into something that could actually fit in your hoody pocket. I’m a professional photographer and I use bigger cameras for my work and wanted a small camera for everyday use and this is just the decision I made.
Chelsea –
Lightweight and portable, though the grip feels a little small

I owned a Fuji X100 camera when they first came out, the X100v is certainly a worthy upgrade, with lots of improved features.
Very stylish and very well made, and lots of options, ( and excellent picture quality), and a good travel camera for when I don’t want to lug a DSLR around.
Only 4 stars because:-
a) Its claimed to be weatherproof, but you have to buy an expensive adaptor and filter to make it so.
b) No separate battery charger supplied, just a short USB lead for ‘in -camera battery charging”.
Noble –
Stunning photo clarity and fast autofocus, highly recommend
Lenna –
Picture quality is impressive, but takes some learning
Maye –
The best camera I’ve ever owned, works perfectly for both photos and videos
Peyton –
Takes great daylight shots, struggles slightly in shadows

I used to have Fuji’s first iteration of this camera, X100 which I eventually sold off to fund other newer cameras at the time. I think X100 started the revolution where camera companies started coming out with newer innovative models, at least that’s what I think. Over the years, I have used many other cameras including Sony A7ii, RX1R, Leica M10. I kept an eye on the iterations of X100. I did not like any of them, sometimes due to waxy tones of the sensor and rest of the times due to poor autofocus speed. Fast forward to 2020 and Fuji came out with this camera. The picture quality is superb, same as XT3 if you have used. The auto focus speed is much improved, though in lower light it hunts a bit. New settings such as clarity are very useful. All these samples are jpegs straight from the camera, with in built flash and Astia film simulation for 2 pictures and the new Classic Negative for the third one. Astia has been always my favourite and I think it shines in most of the situations. Classic neg looks great too but I feel it is away from reality. The TTL flash is fantastic and because of the leaf shutter, it can be used even in bright sunlight. I dial the flash strength back a bit, so the faces do not get washed out. The results you can see from the pictures are fantastic. The camera could do with a better grip, however I have got a small gordy’s strap to go along with it.
The buttons and placement is great. I am glad that the Q button which shows you a selected parameters on the screen, is further away and will not be accidently pressed as it happened in case of XT30 which Fuji released last year. The directional keys are gone so you are left with a joystick. I don’t like joystick much but I would rather have fewer buttons. I do not like cameras with too many buttons everywhere.
The screen finally tilts and it is good in taking pictures from different angles. I wish you could swivel but you cannot unfortunately. I might add more pictures later and type in some more details as I learn more. I do however recommend this camera very highly if you want a short package and do not need a zoom. You could always use electronic zoom with this camera for a further reach though it might reduce resolution a bit.
Update 4 Sep 2020: I have uploaded some more pictures from Athens where I mostly used the wide angle adapter and I loved the combo to capture wide scenery, while leaving the adapter at home at night when I wanted to have smaller X100V as it is.

A very nice and portable camera capable of great pictures. The only down side is that the Bluetooth/WiFi set up can be hit or miss and frustrating at first but it’s worth persevering.

I have owned every model of this series from the X100 to this new model, the X 100V. I have loved them as they are easy to use and carry everywhere with you. They encourage you to take photographs.
This latest iteration has several notable improvement over the X 100F, the previous version. A much improved lens (which is probably the best reason to upgrade), faster autofocus and a flip out screen which does not increase the camera’s bulk.
The improvement in the lens is very noticeable as it gets rid of a softness which I always noticed on the older versions. Autofocus is not as good as my Sony A7RIV but is nearly as good as my Nikon Z7. Autofocus can be slow and face detect is a little clunky at times, but with patience it is more than adequate, if not top notch.
Criticisms are few but the removal of the 4 way controller and requiring the use of joy stick is not my favorite move. I used the 4 way controller a lot on X 100F.
Out of the box jpg picture quality is, as always with Fuji cameras, superb. I rarely need to go to raw and do post processing on Fuji pictures. If you like the X T3/X T4 you will love the out of camera pictures. And those emulation modes for various Fuji film types of old, are very interesting to use.
I do not use this camera for videos (I have perfectly good and better alternatives, including an iPhone 11 Pro Max), so I cannot comment on its video performance.
Altogether an outstanding camera, for those who want a small camera for street photography and other like subjects. It is not the best choice for sport or landscape photography but for everything else this is perfect.
Hector –
Fast processing, but the display screen could be brighter
Dorothy –
Build quality is solid, but could be more weather-resistant
Cortney –
Decent camera for beginners, but doesn’t stand out in any way
